On this day, 1999 …

A small llama was born. Oh, and one of my best friends began  her wondrous life. On this day, Taby was born.

Taby is an outer-space jelly-fish raised by starfish on the planet Fghjkdl. Unfortunately  at the age of 3, she was put into an escape pod and catapulted into the Alpaca  Nebula, due to a case of mistaken identity. Here she met Elly (see Elly, I’m gonna kill you!) and their friendship was born. They lived here happily for about 5 years, then were forced to go on the run from the Intergalactic Police (also known as Judoon, or space rhinos). They refuse to tell me why, and look very shifty whenever I confront them about it …..

So anyway, they had to flee the planet. Don’t ask me how, but they managed to hitch a ride on a couple of space-turtles who dropped them off at Mars. Honestly, hitchhikers …… 😀 They then had to find a way to Earth. Apparently, this took less than five minutes. I wouldn’t be so sure. Well, somehow they ended up falling through the atmosphere of Earth at twice the speed of light. They crashed about 7 miles apart, and having been trying to find each other ever since. They are both masters of disguise

So this took sometime. But by 2010, they were fully re-united, so are now continuing to live their awesome lives. Occasionally they even take the time to blog about it! (Here and here, in case you were interested). So if you feel like it, I bet Taby would love some birthday wishes from random strangers 😀

Anyway, this post is dedicated to my amazingly awesome friend Taby. She’s one of the best friends a girl could have (even if the jellyfish-ness is sometimes a problem), and I hope she has a great day today.

So just a little post to say,

Happy Birthday! To you,

today.

And with that ends all attempts at poetry on this blog. So Happy Birthday Taby, and hope you have an amazing year. Happy 14th! 😀

DFTBA,

Beth
